Neo - Water Resistance (2009)

Originally released as a CD by Megasound Records in 2010.
Recoded and mixed by Francesco Fazzi and Lorenzo Stecconi on July the 8, 9, 10 and 11, 2008 at Locomotive Studio. Produced by Neo.
FLAC + CUE. Source: My own rip from CD.

Neo is Carlo Conti on tenor sax, Manlio Maresca on guitar and Antonio Zitarelli on drums.

Water Resistance is an exciting exercise in fusioning blues, punk and jazz. It's fresh, cool, sophisticated and the best of all: not boring. Some of the highlights of the album are the madness of Ooh no!; the latin flavour of IperprofessionalThe Proliferator, a kind of deconstructed blues in a math rock way or the frenetic rythm of Opus reticulatum. Don't overlook the booklet with beautiful illustrations by different artists.

1 - Ooh no! (03:56)
2 - Canto di natale (00:28)
3 - Opus reticulatum (02:52)
4 - Medieval Tune (02:29)
5 - Are U Still Friend With Your Brain? (03:01)
6 - Iperprofessional (02:35)
7 - The Proliferator (06:03)
8 - Come trasformare il divertimento in tragedia (04:41)
9 - Delirio trementz (03:19)
10 - Pensieri e riflessioni sull'ottimismo (01:54)
11 - L'inseguimento (04:32)
12 - Candida (03:58)
13 - Silicon Valley (02:40)
14 - New Orleans (07:26)
15 - Pascua (03:04)
